Emergence is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Director to provide direction and support for our clinical staff. You will be responsible for all aspects of clinical state and federal regulatory compliance, ensuring staff are properly trained and certified, and that our clients receive appropriate care to achieve their recovery goals.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Clinical Director is responsible for Developing clinical policies and procedures and managing clinical supervision throughout the agency. This position reports to the Executive director.


RELOCATION ASSISTANCE:

The successful candidate will receive relocation assistance equivalent to one month's salary, if relocating more than 50 miles from Eugene, Oregon. We will also provide professional assistance in finding housing, schools, shopping, recreational opportunities, and the like while welcoming you to our community.


RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to:

  • Provide oversight that ensures excellence in delivery of clinical services throughout the agency
  • Develop, update, and implement clinical policies and procedures in association with statutory requirements and Oregon Administrative Rules
  • Ensure high quality individual and group clinical supervision is being delivered to staff in accordance with Oregon Administrative Rules
  • Ensure that Emergence meets all contractual goals and finding requirements
  • Assist staff with urgent clinical situations and provide leadership during crisis events
  • Represent Emergence at meetings with state and community partners

  • Demonstrated leadership supervising, mentoring, and inspiring managers and frontline clinical staff
  • Knowledge of statutory requirements and Oregon Administrative Rules that govern delivery of behavioral health services
  • Skilled communicator both verbally and inwriting
  • Practices integrity in handling disputes, disagreements, and grievances
  • Aptitude for solving problems and resolving issues
  • Familiarity with quality assessments and performance improvement in clinical services
  • Quality management skills to ensure high quality care for our clients

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or related field.
  • Must possess a current QMHP
  • Four years of professional experience in the Mental Health/Behavioral Health/Social Sciences field.
  • Experience in a lead or supervisory capacity, management experience preferred
  • Possess or be willing to acquire an active professional substance use disorder treatment service provider certification recognized by the State of Oregon.
  • Advanced knowledge of treatment methods and evidence-based practices
  • Experience implementing program evaluation criteria and feedback mechanisms
  • Experience analyzing data to make informed decisions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Licensed or ability to be licensed for other services as needed, including but not limited to gambling treatment or specialty fields of counseling.



SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

This position may appear in court or need to travel for various business needs.


SALARY RANGE: $85,000 to $100,000
