The Classroom Support position is responsible for providing support to the preschool. The Classroom Support position will support all aspects of the classroom which includes but not limited to classroom, playground structure, and kitchen. Cover breaks and lunches for the teaching team. Cover preschool positions as needed. This position can be laid off up to 10 week's through the school year. Minimum Qualifications:

1. A minimum of an Associate's Degree from a college or university with a major in: Early childhood education, Child development, Special education, Human development, Child and family studies ORA state or nationally recognized credential, e.g.
2. Child Development Associate (CDA) OR
3. Documentation of attaining at least step 6 in the Oregon Registry; OR
4. 9 quarter credits in two CKCs (3 must be in HGD or UGB) OR
5. At least 750 hours of qualifying teaching experience in a Certified Child Care Center, OR comparable group care program in a toddler/preschool age level.
