Oregon Urology Institute has a Full-Time, Medical Certified Professional Coder opportunity available.

Oregon Urology Institute is one of the largest, most advanced urological centers in the Northwest. Oregon Urology Institute provides patients with some of the region's finest medical experts covering every major urological specialty using proven and leading-edge technologies such as robotic surgery, immunotherapy, and radiation therapy.

The Certified Coder evaluates medical records and charge tickets to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with the Clinical Modification (ICD-10-CM) and CPT manual coding. Provides technical guidance and training on medical coding to physicians and staff, reviewing and correcting denied claims and performs related duties as required.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in our office environment and is NOT available for remote work. Involves in person contact with physicians and internal staff.

Requirements:

  1. Active Certified Coding Specialist designation (CCS) or (CPC) issued by the American Health Information Management Association.
  2. All candidates must pass a drug screen, reference and background check in order to be considered for employment.
  3. All new employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and able to provide proof on their first day of work.

Experience: Certified Coder in a medical office. Urology experience a plus! Centricity Practice Management experience preferred.

This is a Full-time position. Certified Coder wage range: $19.25 to $28.82 per hour, DOE.
