Program Director for our Riverfront School & College & Career Center
Brief Overview of the Program Director Position
The Program Director is responsible for the overall performance of the Riverfront School and Career Center, and for its effective and efficient operation. Programs include Riverfront School, Independent Living Program, Skilled Trades Program, Job Training Program, Workforce Readiness, and Lane Metro Youth Corps. This position provides effective leadership at the program, local, and state level. This position has a schedule of Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Essential Qualifications
Qualified staff have a Master's degree in education or equivalent. Four years of relevant program experience, with at least two years supervisory and administrative experience including personnel, fiscal, and contract management. Experience with case management and skill building preferred

Overview of the Riverfront School College & Career Center
This accredited school offers academic instruction and vocational training for youth ages 11 – 21. The program includes the Independent Living Program for youth in foster care, the Job Training Program to support career goals, and the Lane-Metro Youth Corps a hands-on natural resource program.
We support youth 14 – 24 years old to attain their education and employment goals. The Career Center provides access to other Looking Glass or community services, connects youth with training and certification opportunities related to their long-term career goals, and offers paid work experiences and financial literacy training.
ILP assists current and former foster youth ages 16 – 21 to gain skills to help them transition into independent living. The program supports youth to create goals toward education, housing, employment, financial literacy, and other areas important to each youth.
Looking Glass Community Services is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that has been dedicated to serving Lane County since 1970. Over the years, our organization has grown, and so have the services we provide. In addition to providing comprehensive services to teens in crisis, Looking Glass has established programming for children and adults, allowing us to provide outstanding care to a larger portion of our community. Our programs span the diverse fields of behavioral health, alcohol and drug abuse support, basic human services, juvenile justice, education, youth development, and workforce readiness.
